turquoise necklace with Kerouac quote pendant

This one of a kind Fox mine turquoise gemstone necklace was handcrafted in my Nashville studio.

This is my original design and creation.
I used yards and years of recycled sterling silver wire to create this bohemian piece.

The hand cut turquoise nuggets are slightly graduated in size, with the largest stones being near the pendant. Gemstones of the highest quality were added for extra color and beauty. I chose a baroque freshwater pearl and three gorgeous faceted iolite gemstones and wrapped each one in solid 10k yellow gold wire.

The sterling silver pendant is my own design and creation.
A feather adorns the front.
I melted 23k yellow gold onto the silver, for an extra special touch.
On the back, I wrote the following quote by Jack Kerouac:

Be in love with your life. Every detail of it.

Pendant measures 1 3/4 inch tall and hangs on a solid 14k gold jump ring.

The entire piece was oxidized and then polished by hand.
Sterling silver rotating lobster clasp and hand wrapped link closure.
The hand wrapped gemstone chain measures 22 inches in length.
