pink sapphire moon pendant necklace

Handcrafted out of sterling silver in my Nashville studio, this moon necklace is one of a kind.

My own design, the pendant is cut out of sterling silver.
I added feather engravings to the front, and bezel set a pink sapphire.
The album Pink Moon by Nick Drake is one of my most played, I absolutely love it and was listening to it while making pendants on this day so I had to use a pink sapphire for this piece.
I engraved the words 'be kind' on the opposite side.
The pendant measures just over 1 inch tall by .5 inch at it's widest.
A 14k yellow gold ring connects the pendant to the chain.

The sterling silver cable chain in the photos is 20 inches in length.
Luxury rotating lobster clasp and hand wrapped link closure.
The pendant and chain have been oxidized to bring out the details.
