scapolite fairytale necklace

This one of a kind necklace was created in my studio. I made the setting out of heavy sterling silver. My sterling silver Indian elm branches surround the stone, reminiscent of a fairytale framed mirror.

Scapolite is rare in this quality and size. It measures 6.5 on the mohs scale. Scapolite is often worn for balancing the third chakra. Scapolite is thought to encourage inner peace, also thought to help with stress and problem solving. A stone of fire. Of facilitating change.

This pendant measures just under 1 inch tall.
The scapolite gemstone measures 16mm tall x 12mm wide.

The rings attaching the pendant to the chain are sterling silver.
The golden gemstone is a touch of the sun to contrast with the silver details that alchemically represent the moon.

Your pendant hangs on a blackened sterling silver chain.
It measures 20 inches in length and has a spring ring closure.
