pilot mountain turquoise necklace . sterling silver and 14k gold

An insanely beautiful fairy tale turquoise necklace, handcrafted in my Nashville studio.

This necklace is my original design and creation and is one of a kind.
I used recycled sterling silver and 14k yellow gold to create this bohemian piece.

I set a hand cut cabochon of gorgeous natural Pilot Mountain turquoise in a sterling silver bezel setting.
I smoothed the edges into an organic wave, mimicking the surface of water to compliment the beautiful blue stone.

The back of the pendant is thick sterling silver sheet, which I sawed into an organic shape to compliment the stone.
I added a sterling silver rose, four tiny sterling silver pearls, a sterling silver branch that I cast in sterling silver, and two solid 14k yellow gold leaves, that I made.
Every bit of this pendant is my creation and started in my imagination.

The pendant measures 1.85 inches tall x .92 inch wide.
The stone is vibrant green and blue with mesmerizing reddish matrix running throughout the stone.
This turquoise is among the highest quality.
It was mined, saved for decades, and cut and polished by the same gentleman, truly a work of art.

The sterling silver chain measures 29 inches in length.
Sterling silver rotating lobster clasp and hand wrapped link closure.
(If you'd like a different chain length, I'm happy to change it to suit you.)

The entire was oxidized.
The pendant was polished by hand.
I left the chain black, for maintenance free wear.
The ring connecting the pendant to the chain is 14k yellow gold.
