Drink The Wild Air Scapolite Necklace
A rosary style gemstone necklace.
Glowing faceted scapolite gemstones in shades of brown and grey paired with a flawless faceted garnet were used to compose this beautiful necklace.
Each stone was wrapped by hand with sterling silver wire, creating a chain.
The bar pendant is my own design and creation. Crafted using sterling silver, the front is covered with my signature vines. On the back, I wrote a short part of a favorite quote from Walt Whitman-
drink the wild air.
The rotating lobster clasp and hand wrapped link closure are solid sterling silver.
Measures 20 inches long.
Bar pendant measures 1.4 inches long.
Made with yards and yards of sterling silver that has been blackened, for an antique look, and so that the necklace will never need polishing.
Scapolite can be worn to balance the third chakra. It is thought to encourage inner peace, also thought to help with stress, problem solving, and facilitating change.
This piece would be beautiful on its own, or layered with a necklace that is two inches longer.
