dreamer turquoise ring with engraved Fitzgerald quote band

Handcrafted in my Nashville area studio, a Sierra Nevada turquoise ring.

The American mined turquoise stone weighs 12.4 carats.
It's a pool of dark and light blues with just the right amount of matrix for interest.
It measures 21mm tall x 15mm wide x 6.8mm thick.
The thick sterling silver bezel has hand carved organic edges, mimicking water.

The band is 6-8mm wide with waving edges.
I engraved feathers on the outside. Inside, I engraved a quote from The Great Gatsby, written by F Scott Fitzgerald

Patina was applied to the silver and then I hand polished the piece, to bring out the many details.
