Apache Gold Compass Necklace
Handcrafted in my Nashville studio, this necklace is my original design and creation and is one of a kind.
I used recycled sterling silver to create this bohemian piece.
The base of the pendant is thick sterling silver sheet, that I sawed into a rustic shield shape.
I set a hand cut cabochon of natural apache gold in a sterling silver bezel setting.
It's a bit rustic, to compliment the beautiful stone.
Apache Gold is a rare combination of Pyrite (Iron Sulfide) and Magnetite (Iron Oxide) found recently in the desert of Arizona. It's also known as Healers Gold, and is worn to restore energy, heal wounds, and help to dispel negative energy and fear.
The pendant measures 1.75 inches tall x 1.5 inch wide.
The stone measures 1.3 inch (33mm) tall and wide.
It's bright golden bronze with a single dark vein running across the bottom half of the stone. The black matrix at the bottom of the stone reminds me of a spider web. It's mesmerizing.
On the back, I added four points and a star with my Tudor rose engravings, to create a compass. May you always find your way when you feel lost. ❤️
